Each property on the estate, houses or flats, include a single share in Martinswood Management Co Ltd. When a property or lease is sold the new owner or leaseholder has the share relating to their property transferred to them.

Martinswood Management is owned by its shareholders, who are the house owners and flat leaseholders on the estate. Having a share entitles the shareholder to join the board of directors, if there is a vacancy, and to vote at the Annual General Meeting.
